Golf Information

Cancellation Policy: Poor weather conditions such as heavy rain or lightening may delay the start time of the golf outing.  If poor weather conditions persist and the event is cancelled prior to tee-off, all participants will be issued a raincheck good for 1 year from the date of the outing.

Scramble Format:  All team members tee off from the first hole and choose which tee shot they like the best and mark the spot. The other players pick up their balls and place it within one club length of the marked spot. All players hit their shot from the chosen spot. This is followed on every shot for the remainder of the hole, including putts. Putts need to be made within 3 inches of the marked spot (no closer to the hole). The first ball to go in the hole is counted for the team score. Each team member must use at least one tee shot during the both the front and back nine holes. Play from the BLUE TEES. 60 years and older may use the WHITE TEES. Women may use the MAIZE TEES.

Longest Drive: Men - Hole #1, Women - Hole #1
If your drive is the longest, write your name on the marker card and place the marker in the ground on the spot where your ball came to rest. The ball must be in the cut fairway to count. Once the marker has been placed in the ground, it should stay there until someone else hits a longer drive. That person should repeat the procedure of writing their name on the card below the other names and place the marker at the spot. Your team must use this tee shot for the scramble.

Closest to the Pin: Men - Hole #5, Women - Hole #14
If your tee shot is closest to the hole, write your name on the marker card and place the marker in the ground on the spot where your ball came to rest. Once the marker has been placed in the ground, it should stay there until someone else hits a closer shot. That person should repeat the procedure of writing their name on the card below the other names and place the marker at the spot. Your team must use this tee shot for the scramble.

Closest To The Line In The Fairway: Hole #10
A line is drawn down the center of the fairway with either chalk or rope. The winner is designated by the player who hits his or her tee shot closest to the line. Distance is not the objective here, accuracy is! The line does not extend beyond what is marked in the fairway. Your team must use this tee shot for the scramble.

Closest To The Tee Box In The Fairway: Hole #15
The winner is designated by the player who hits his or her tee shot in the cut fairway, but closest to the tee box. Your team must use this tee shot for the scramble.
